We have jointly entered the Border League Cross Country Series with our friends at Haslemere Border Athletics Club and there have been two events in the last 3 weeks. On 29th November, it was at Hindhead (which HBAC kindly stepped in to host at the last minute), and in Guildford on the 13th of December.
We have had some good competitive runs, with the following children entered:
U11 Boys: Jamie Kimber, Robert Kimber;
U13 Girls: Katie Matthews, Sacha Barrass, Grace Kimber;
U13 Boys: Ned Walker, Aidan Searle;
U15 Boys: Bradley Lewis.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the tough events in the wind, rain and mud with some challenging courses starting from 2.5 kms long.
In addition to the Cross Country series, our Juniors section has an active weekly track and field training session.
