The last cross country race of the 2013/4 season took place at Staunton Country Park on 2nd March 2014. The weather was kind during the race and the mud didn’t disappoint!
We were well represented with 17 runners after the initial response being low due to training for Spring marathons fully under way.
A huge thank you to Team Waverley: Rosie Reynolds, Linda Sharp, Liz Hoare, Rebecca Atkins, Heather Clarkson, Sarah Frost, Wendy Wright, Teresa Male, Julian Tasker, MacGregor Cox, Mark Hobbs, Steven Carpenter, Darren Frost, Owen Kimber, James Hatch, David Male and Alexis Shirtliff.
We came 5th overall out of 21 teams – an excellent achievement and end to a fantastic season.
