It was a weekend of running down in Portsmouth last weekend for the 25th running of the Bupa Great South Run. On Saturday Gemma Whitehouse represented the Waverley Harriers running in the 5K event with her mum as the picture below shows.
On Sunday Rachael Greener, Dan Hull, David Pallister, JP and I headed down to Portsmouth all hoping for decent times. Conditions were good and the atmosphere as good as it always is. In an event that saw over 16,500 finishers the results of the Waverley Harriers were impressive with Dan Hull finishing in an amazing 58th position running 58.07. The full results for our runners are shown below.

A great day was had by all. The Great South run is always a good event in the calendar providing a nice flat 10 mile route which is well supported all round. The picture below shows some of the team after the event.
